Abbath

Olve Eikemo (born 13 September 1973 in Bergen, Norway), better known by the stage name Abbath Doom Occulta or simply Abbath, is a Norwegian composer, singer and guitarist, and one of the founding members of the renowned Black Metal band Immortal. Before creating Immortal, Abbath was bassist for one of the first bands of the Bergen extreme metal scene, Old Funeral, with future Immortal members Demonaz and Jørn Inge Tunsberg, Varg Vikernes of Burzum, as well as Tore Bratseth of The Batallion (that said, they were not all in the band at the same time). While still taking part in the band Old Funeral, Abbath also joined Demonaz's band Amputation, which would later become Immortal. He also plays bass for Demonaz's new project.
