Almah

Almah is a Brazilian heavy metal band formed by Edu Falaschi, the singer of the band Angra. At first a simple side project, Almah became a full-fledged band following the temporary halt of Angra's activities in 2007. Since Angra's return in March 2009, Edu Falaschi has remained active in both bands. Almah's self-titled first album was released in July 2006 (Japan/Victor-JVC and Brazil/Laser Company) and in March 2007 (Europe/AFM Records). Edu Falaschi handles the vocal parts but also produced the record and composed all the lyrics and music. He plays the acoustic guitar parts on the album as well as the keyboards and did all the arrangements. This first album was well received by critics and the public around the world. Edu Falaschi was, moreover, voted among the best singers of the year by the readers of the magazine "Burrn!" (Japan).
