Human Mastication

The perverse gore of Human Mastication, a band from Davao City, took flight in 2002. These chewers of humanity mix death metal and goregrind with well-placed touches of groove and technicality, and after a few tries and grinds, release albums like Grotesque Mastication of Putrid Innards and welcoming song titles like "Bizarre Museum of Eviscerated Whores" and "Your Rotting Body is My Art". Their album "13 Years of Masticating" offers a nice rotten sample of their noise; never has gurgling been used with such percussive perfection, bubbling up like acrid bubbles in the damp, swampy hell of the band's music.
