Iron Fire

Iron Fire was founded in 1995, initially known under the name "Misery And Decades Of Darkness"; they played hardrock, doom, death and black metal until they decided to focus on melodic speed metal. In 1998, the band signed with Modern Music. Then Jakob Lykkebo and Gunnar Olsen came to join Martin Steene, Kristian H. Martinsen and Kristian Iversen. In 2000 they released their first album "Thunderstorm", recorded at the "Jailhouse Studios" in Germany. In 2001 they released their second opus "On the Edge". But in September 2003, Iron Fire split up, though Martin Steene wanted to continue the band and recruited Martin Lund, Jens B, Johan Jacob Høvring Olsen and Kirk Backarach. They returned in 2006 with their 3rd album "Revenge".
