Murderdolls is an American horror punk supergroup, founded in 2002 in Hollywood, California. The band's line-up is based around singer Wednesday 13 and Joey Jordison. Former members are Ben Graves, Acey Slade, Eric Griffin and Tripp Eisen. Formed in 1995 under the name The Rejects, the band was renamed Murderdolls ("murderous dolls" in English), following the departure of its frontman, singer and founder, Dizzy Rejects, "because The Rejects sounded too punk, a bit like The Misfits, and we didn't want to be given a label" according to Joey Jordison. In 2002 the first album was released: Beyond the Valley Of the Murderdolls. The album is very good and contains the hit Dead in Hollywood. The following year a compilation was released bringing together songs by the Murderdolls but also songs by the band Slipknot.
