Blaspheme

Blasphème is a French heavy metal band, founded in 1981 in Paris. The original line-up consisted of Marc Fery on vocals, Pierre Holzhaeuser as the band's sole guitarist alternating between rhythm and solo, Philippe Guadagnino on bass and Régis Martin on drums. It was in 1981 that Blasphème gave its first concerts. The band quickly became popular in the Paris region, alternating concerts and broadcasts on pirate radio stations. Their first demo was broadcast on FM radio. In 1983, they signed their first self-titled album with the English producer Robert Wood, who spotted them at a concert in Paris. They then went on a European tour. That year, Blasphème recorded 2 tracks in London for Ebony Records for the compilation Metal Plated.
