Edge of Sanity

Edge of Sanity is a Swedish death metal band founded in 1990 by singer, drummer and multi-instrumentalist Dan Swanö and bassist/guitarist Andreas Axelsson. After recruiting bassist Anders Lindberg, guitarist Sami Nerberg and drummer Benny Larsson, the band recorded several demos until 1990, when one of them, titled "Kur-Nu-Gi-A", attracted the attention of the record label Black Mark and allowed them to land their first contract. In 1991, they recorded their first album "Nothing But Death Remains" with Bathory's sound engineer and began to get noticed by the specialized press. However, they had difficulty setting themselves apart from the rest of the then-exploding Swedish scene.
