Legion of the Damned is a thrash metal/death metal band from the Netherlands. The band formed in 2004 following the disbanding of the group Occult and the departure of former singer Rachel Heyzer. Lyrically, the band tends to focus on motifs of horror, dark occult, religious themes and apocalyptic events. They recorded their albums Malevolent Rapture and Sons of the Jackal at Stage One Studio with Andy Classen.
