Trance

Formed in 1974 by Markus Berger and Lothar Antoni with drummer Stefan Gerdon and bassist Hans-Peter Jantzer under the name Trance. In '80, Stefan and Hans-Peter left the band and were replaced by Thomas Klein and Jürgen Kappner. Michael Kessler remained from '79 to '81 as second guitarist. In August 1981 their first single A Hard Way to Go was released, followed by the albums Break Out and Power Infusion on the label Rockport Records. After several concerts in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium with Bonfire and Warlock, Trance released the album Victory. Problems with their record label forced the band to leave it and change their name to Trancemission in '89 on the album Back in Trance. In 1998, Trance split up.
