Otargos

Otargos was formed in 2001 in Bordeaux, and began with a musically traditional black metal style although conceptually based on cosmology, quantum physics and technology. The band's style began to take a more diverse and more personal turn by incorporating elements such as samples or a less markedly black metal approach, moving toward a black and death metal hybrid that reflected even more strongly in their compositions the concepts addressed in their lyrics. The band's name means "goat" in ancient Greek. In 2002, the band embarked on a first demo titled Conquerors, Conquerors,...Destroyers.
