Freak of Nature

Freak Of Nature formed in 1992. The band offers a heavy-rock darker than the glam of White Lion, in which the leader, Mike Tramp, had officiated during the 80s. The self-titled first album, released in 1992 and carried by the very good single "Rescue Me", would allow the band to conquer Europe during a marathon tour. Buoyed by this unexpected success, the band would release two years later an excellent second album with darker grunge tones, "The Gathering Of Freaks". An artistic achievement without a sequel, since the quintet, worn out by touring, would break up while it still had so much to say artistically.
