Warlock

Warlock was a German traditional heavy metal band from Düsseldorf formed in 1982. In the late 80s, singer Doro Pesch was the only original member to remain in the band, and this is how she formed the band Doro, a band that was essentially meant to be a continuation of what Warlock was doing under a different name. Warlock's music was in the vein of early 1980s traditional heavy metal with the album Burning the Witches, but they turned toward a more hard-rock style after the album Hellbound. Their influences come from 1970s heavy metal. The first line-up (Doro Pesch on vocals, Peter Szigeti and Rudy Graf on guitars, Frank Rittel on bass and Michael Eurich on drums) recorded the album Burning the Witches (in 1984) and Hellbound (in 1985).
