After All

After All is a Belgian thrash metal band, originally from Bruges, in the Flemish Region. In early 1987, guitarists Dries Van Damme and Christophe Depree, along with the brothers Bert and Peter De Meyer, formed the band Crap Society in Bruges. They played together in this line-up until 1988, when Bert De Meyer left the band. As a result, drummer Peter De Meyer switched from drums to bass. Wijnand Desreveaux and Chris De Neve, a new singer and a new drummer, then joined the band. Because of these many changes, the band subsequently renamed itself At Least. At Least performed for the first time in May 1989 with the metal band Evil Sinner in Koekelare. In the summer of the same year, they released their first demo Peace on Earth.
