Marduk

Marduk is a black metal band formed in 1990 in Norrköping, Sweden. Marduk was formed by Morgan Steinmeyer Håkansson to create the "most blasphemous band in the world". Their musical style was initially death metal influenced by Black metal, but over the years the band adopted a sound and imagery closer to "true" black metal. The main themes addressed by Marduk are satanism, anti-Christianity, biblical narratives, death, the history of Germany under the Third Reich, and the Second World War. The last two albums are a later addition to their conceptual lyrical themes, stemming from Panzer Division Marduk. Marduk recorded additional songs relating to these chapters of human history, "Night of the Long Knives", "Deathmarch" and other songs.
