Heavenwood

Heavenwood is a Portuguese gothic metal band, originally from Vila Nova de Gaia, in the Porto District. The band was formed in 1992 in Vila Nova de Gaia, in the Porto District, under the name Necroside, then as Disgorged. Under that name, they recorded two demos, As Illusive as a Dream and Emotional Wound, in 1993 and 1994 respectively, before renaming themselves Heavenwood in 1996 and signing to the label Massacre Records. The band released its first studio album, Diva. They released their second album, Swallow. The band was on hold between 2001 and 2003. The tracks Bridge to Neverland and One Step to Devotion were playable on JamLegend before the site's closure.
