Antropomorphia

Antropomorphia (see Anthropomorphism) is a Dutch death metal band from Tilburg founded in 1989 under the name Dethroned Empire, dissolved in 1999 and reformed in 2009. The band was founded in 1989 under the name Dethroned Empire by singer and guitarist Ferry Damen, drummer Marco Stubbe and guitarist Vincent van Boxtel. That same year, they recorded their first demos, in which they were influenced by bands such as Hellhammer, Celtic Frost, Infernäl Mäjesty and Bathory. From 1990 to 1993, the band's musical direction shifted towards death metal. It then changed its name to Anthropomorphia.
