The Haunted

The Haunted is a Swedish thrash/death band (Gothenburg) formed in 1996. The original line-up was composed of Patrick Jensen (Seance, Witchery), Jonas Björler, Adrian Erlandsson, Anders Björler and Peter Dolving. The Björler brothers and Erlandsson all three came from the melodic death band At The Gates, a pioneer of the so-called "Gothenburg" death metal scene. The band blends the sound of the metal trends represented by Metallica and Forbidden, or by bands like Slayer and Dark Angel in the 1980s, with the specifically Swedish style found in bands like Dark Tranquillity. There are also hardcore punk influences to be found.
