Heavatar

Heavatar was founded in 2012 by Stefan Schmidt, founder of Van Canto, as a project. The first album, All My Kingdoms, was released on 22 February 2013 via Napalm Records. Jörg Michael plays the role of drummer on this album. The project also includes guitarist Sebastian Scharf and bassist David Vogt. Stefan Schmidt himself plays the seven-string guitar and handles the lead vocals. Hacky Hackman and Olaf Senkbeil, who were already working with Blind Guardian, were responsible for the choral arrangements. The cover was created by the fantasy artist Kerem Beyit.
