Hypertension

Hypertension, Ex Shattered, is a Swedish Thrash / Death Metal band formed in 2011 in Östersund. The band released the demo Envenomed by Vipers in 2012. They recorded their first album, Primeval Tyrants Prevails, in 2013. It was followed by the album Distant Thunders Call the following year and the EP Dark Storms Arise in 2016. Overall, Hypertension created a totally out-of-the-ordinary thrash, returning to the roots of the genre. It is hard to imagine a fan of extreme metal not liking this band. It is incredible that it went almost unnoticed, as it should appeal to metal fans around the world.
