Dearly Beheaded

Formed in 1993, Dearly Beheaded released a demo the same year before signing to the label Music for Nations, which released the EP In a Darkened Room in 1995. The following year, the band performed in May at Dynamo Open Air a few days before the release of Temptation, a first album produced by Colin Richardson, producer of Machine Head's Burn My Eyes. Critics indeed noted the strong resemblance between the two bands, particularly in terms of production and instrumental parts. In November, they opened on Annihilator's European tour.
