Orphanage

Orphanage is a Dutch Gothic Death band formed in 1987 in Utrecht. The band was formed in 1993 in Utrecht. It is one of the first Dutch heavy metal bands to combine grunts and female vocals. The band performed on stage in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, France and Switzerland. Some of the most special concerts took place at the Dynamo Open Air (twice), Graspop Metal Meeting, Summer Metal Meeting and A Campingflight to Lowlands Paradise festivals. In October 2004, they announced they were parting ways with their keyboardist Lasse, and the return of their regular keyboardist Guus. Orphanage came to an end after 11 years of existence on 20 October 2005.
