Messiah's Kiss

The band was founded in 2001 and stems from the heavy metal outfit Repression from Dinslaken (North Rhine-Westphalia/Lower Rhine), which had already self-released four productions. The band's activities stagnated because they were based on the classic heavy metal of the 1980s, which was no longer a defining style from the mid-1990s onward. From 2000, interest in classic heavy metal, now called True Metal, rose again, particularly in Germany. Georg Kraft then began to write new songs. After 13 songs had been completed and pre-produced, Kraft and Ostra wanted to take on the international competition with this material and express the new songs with a professional singer.
