Die Form

Die Form is a project of musician and artist Philippe Fichot. He recorded a number of experimental cassettes, beginning with Die Form in 1977, then released the first Die Form vinyl (Die Puppe) in 1982. While the project was still in its early stages, Fichot blended esoteric electronic elements with eroticism, death and other so-called taboo subjects. Other early projects of Philippe Fichot include Krylon Hertz, Mental Code, Camera Obscura, Eva-Johanna Reichstag, Hurt, and Fine Automatic. Some Experiences with Shock followed in 1984, and the project moved toward a more commercial sound with the release of Poupée mécanique. The project then consolidated its melodic and experimental side with the release of Photogrammes, before the arrival of Eliane P. on the album Corpus Delicti (1991), who has remained within the project ever since.
