Alter Bridge

Alter Bridge is an American heavy metal band, originating from Orlando, Florida. It is made up of three former members of Creed: Mark Tremonti on guitar, Brian Marshall on bass and Scott Phillips on drums. On vocals, it is Myles Kennedy (ex-Mayfield Four) who holds the microphone, in a style closer to Chris Cornell than to Scott Stapp. After two successful albums, Marshall left the band in 2000, before the release of their third album in 2001. The band became inactive after a controversial tour. That year, Tremonti began writing new songs with the idea of forming a new band with Phillips and Marshall. Fans of Myles Kennedy's former band, The Mayfield Four, they invited him to join them as singer. They then named themselves Alter Bridge.
