Nailbomb

Nailbomb is an industrial thrash metal band formed by Max Cavalera when he was singer and guitarist of Sepultura and by Alex Newport of Fudge Tunnel. Nailbomb was founded in 1994 with the aim of expressing a certain disgust toward a world where there are too many injustices, violence and indoctrination. Originally, the band was only supposed to make a single studio album since Max and Alex did not want Nailbomb to become "commercial", like many bands of the time that ended up becoming a caricature of themselves. Their second record, Proud to Commit Commercial Suicide, was recorded live and was reportedly made only because of the enthusiasm of the young audience. Nailbomb left its mark on industrial metal in the vein of Ministry. The band split up after the release of its second record, "Proud to Commit Commercial Suicide".
