Liv Kristine

Liv Kristine Espenæs, born on 14 February 1976 in Stavanger, Norway, is a singer and singing teacher known for having been the figurehead of the bands Theatre of Tragedy, with whom she achieved significant success, and Leaves' Eyes. She studies English literature and holds a master's degree in phonology and phonetics in Old English. Her songs bring out her passion for literature, history and languages. Shakespeare's writings, gothic literature, Norse mythology and her personal experiences inspire her lyrics. She is a soprano.
