Equilibrium

Equilibrium was founded in 2001 by René Berthiaume, Helge Stang, Sandra Völkl and Andreas Völkl in Maisach near Munich. They produce a demo in 2003 and sign for an album with Black Attakk Records. The release is first planned for 2004, but keeps being postponed. Turis Fratyr finally sees the light of day on 31 January 2005. It contains the reworked demo as well as new tracks. In October 2006, Equilibrium signs a multi-album contract with Nuclear Blast. The band begins work in July 2007 on its new album Sagas. The latter is released on 27 June 2008 and immediately climbs to 30th place on the "Media Control Charts" (the German record charts).
