Mr. Big

Mr. Big is an American hard rock band, formed in 1988. The band is managed by Walter Herbert and composed of Paul Gilbert on guitar, Pat Torpey on drums, and singer Eric Martin. In 1989, a contract was already signed with Atlantic, which led to the release of the eponymous album the same year. Despite a certain buzz among the musicians' audience, the album did not make an impression on the general public; however, Mr. Big met with immediate success in Japan. The band's breakthrough came with their second album, Lean Into It, in 1991. It features two ballads that brought the band commercial success: "To Be With You" and "Just Take My Heart", as well as more rock-oriented tracks that remain classics of the genre such as "Green-Tinted Sixties Mind".
