Formed in '88, Thunderhead signed their first album on the German label Intercord. The band supported Uriah Heep and Victory on their European tours and, at the end of '89, they opened for Motorhead's English tour. The album "Crime Pays" met with great success in Japan, the shows were sold out. As a result, JVC planned an upcoming tour with T-Head. Back in Germany, Thunderhead played at a few festivals then began working on their 4th album "Killing with style". But problems with their label arose and forced them to break their contract. They signed with G.U.N. With the financial matters settled, drugs and permanent disagreements tarnished the band's popularity. Working together became impossible for them and in 1996 Thunderhead split. Bullet recruited 3 new members for the album "Ugly side" but without success.
