Wolf Hoffmann

Wolf Hoffmann (born December 10, 1959 in Mainz) is a rock guitarist and professional photographer, of German origin. He is particularly known for being the guitarist of the German heavy metal band Accept, which he joined in 1976. He also devoted himself to a solo project in 2000, in which he covers classical pieces in a hard rock version. He is married to the manager and lyricist of the band Accept, Gaby Hauke Hoffmann, also known under the pseudonym Deaffy. Hoffmann is known both for his catchy riffs and for his extremely lyrical guitar solos, in which he favors dynamism, melodicity and expressiveness. Besides Heavy metal and rock, Hoffmann is known for his passion for classical music, Tchaikovsky being one of his favorite composers. He has made numerous covers of it. He emigrated to the USA, to Nashville, where he lives as a photographer.
