Fish, real name William Derek Dick, born on 25 April 1958 in Dalkeith, Scotland, is a singer and singer-songwriter of neo-progressive rock, a charismatic figure of the British band Marillion in its original creative heyday, from 1979 to 1988. Highly inspired and inventive, he today pursues a diverse solo musical career. Worldwide success has thus given way to more discreet commitment and activity, appreciated in Europe and the United Kingdom. Often compared to Peter Gabriel, Fish is a performer with vocal possibilities as varied as they are exceptional.
