Burning Witches

The band Burning Witches was founded in the spring of 2015 in Brugg, Switzerland, by guitarist Romana Kalkuhl. It had always been her great dream to play with a heavy metal band on stage. In 2015, Romana began to look for talented women for the new combo. Jeanine Grob (bass), a longtime friend, became the first official member. At a party at a festival, Romana met Seraina Telli (vocals) for the first time. It clicked right away between the two girls, on both a musical and personal level. Seraina brought a lot of ideas and a lot of experience because of her studies at the Academy of Music and her band Surrilium. The guitarist and the vocalist became a great songwriting team right away!
