Darkwoods My Betrothed

Darkwoods My Betrothed was formed in 1993 under the name Virgin Cunt. The band recorded its first demo, Dark Aureolis Gathering, in 1994. They released their first album Heirs of the Northstar in 1995 on the label Hammerheart Productions. 1996 saw the release of the second album, Autumn Roars Thunder, on the label Solistitium. In 1998, the band returned with Witch-Hunts, a concept album oriented towards viking metal. After a few years apart following the release of Witch-Hunts, the band split up and briefly returned for the demo Dark Aureoles Gathering released in 2000, limited to 250 copies, by Cryonics Records.
