Wrathchild

Wrathchild (sometimes known as Wrathchild UK in the United States due to a naming conflict with Wrathchild America) is an English glam metal band. Formed in 1980, the band was one of the earliest representatives of the glam metal genre, founded at roughly the same time as American bands of the genre such as Mötley Crüe. In their home country, the band's specialty was the DIY aesthetic (common to many NWOBHM bands), over-the-top stage shows and striking imagery. In their early days, they often played in pubs, but always used confetti and pyrotechnic pieces, while wearing full glam metal gear, including their signature platform boots and huge hair.
