Racer X

Racer X is an American heavy metal band, from Los Angeles, California. The band has five studio albums and four live albums to its credit. The band's name is a reference to the character from the Speed Racer cartoon and to the fast rhythms of their compositions, which is one of their main characteristics. Due to musical differences, the band split up in 1989, then reformed in 1999, before splitting up again in 2002.
