Andi Deris

Andreas "Andi" Deris, born on 18 August 1964 in Karlsruhe, Germany, is the singer and main lyricist of the German power metal band Helloween. In 1993 Helloween's line-up changed. Andi replaced Michael Kiske and former Gamma Ray drummer Uli Kusch took the place of Ingo Schwichtenberg. Helloween recorded "Master Of The Rings", which revived the band's success; The Time of the Oath, released in 1996, sold even better than its predecessor. Andi took advantage of a break by the band to record his first solo album, Come in from the Rain.
