Arkeronn

Made up of 5 passionate musicians, Arkeronn, a progressive metal band from Lyon, came into being in 2001 under the name Harmonik. Originally 3 musicians, Fabien Lacroix (lead guitarist), Romain Rieffel (drummer) and Sébastien Schmid (guitarist) were joined by Bruno Rivoire (bassist) and Fabrice Sollier (singer) in 2002, for a heavy metal style. In 2005, the combo was renamed Arkeronn. Bruno was replaced by Pierre Remy on bass and Alexandre Pachabezian joined them on synth. At the end of 2006, the band released a 5-track demo with a new singer, but was looking for another one by July 2007: it would be Fabien, and Arkeronn self-produced its first album, My World, recorded in Lyon at the Sonic Box studio. The album was released in November 2008.
