Fate

It is difficult to introduce a band like Fate without taking a little step back. 1984, guitarist Hank Sherman leaves Mercyful Fate, then in full glory. Together with bassist Pete Steiner (aka Peter Steincke), drummer Bob Lance (aka Bjarne Holm) and singer Jeff "Lox" Limbo, he forms Fate with the idea of making it a sort of Danish version of Van Halen. Their first album quickly became a classic appreciated by fans of hard rock, AOR, and even melodic heavy metal. In 1986, "A Matter Of Attitude" definitively established Fate on the international scene. This growing success did not, however, prevent Hank Sherman from hanging it up two years later and thus handing over his place to The Mysterious Mr. Moth. It is under this strange pseudonym that Jacob Moth (that is his real name) signs all the guitars of "Cruisin' For A Bruisin'".
