Jade is a Swiss Heavy Metal band formed under the name Sacrifice in 1982 in Delemont. The band recorded a single album under the name Sacrifice (On The Altar Of Rock) in 1984. They changed their name to Jade in 1989. The only album, Precious & Wild, was released in 1991. This hard-rock band earned a very good reputation for the quality of its work and the finesse of its arrangements. It played countless concerts and festivals in Europe, notably the Eurockéennes de Belfort/F (1989 and 1992) and recorded a maxi-LP, an LP, a CD and a video, filmed in London.
