Devilment

The band was formed in late 2011 by guitarist Daniel "Danny" Finch. The line-up is completed by drummer Simon Dawson, bassist Justin Walker and keyboardist Kieron De-Courci. In its early days, the band struggled to find a suitable singer. In 2012, singer Dani Filth, known for his performances within the sextet Cradle of Filth, joined the band. With the musician, the band began working on its first studio album. In the summer of 2014, the band signed a publishing deal with the label Nuclear Blast. Devilment's first album, titled The Great and Secret Show, was released on November 3 of the same year, sold 880 copies at its debut, and reached No. 22 on the Billboard Heatseekers. Shortly afterward, following disagreements, Finch left the band.
