Iotunn

The band was formed in 2015 in Copenhagen by brothers Jesper and Jens Nicolai Gräs, both guitarists. The name Iotunn comes from Old Norse and means "giant." They were joined by drummer Bjørn Wind Andersen and singer-bassist Benjamin Møller Jensen. In February 2016, the lineup released the EP The Wizard Falls, consisting of five tracks. The following year, Benjamin Møller Jensen left the band, being replaced on vocals by Jón Aldará, singer of the band Hamferð, and on bass by Eskil Rask. In early 2020, the band members recorded their first album in Gothenburg, Sweden. Access All Worlds was released in February 2021 and was voted best extreme progressive metal album of the year by the readers of the specialized website Metal Storm.
