WebsiteBack in 1989, old classmates Torsten Ihlenfeld (guitar), Milan Loncaric (guitar) and Dieter Bernert (drums) founded Brainstorm and recorded their first demo, "Hand Of Doom", a little later, in 1990! Several concerts with bands such as Stormwitch, Exciter and Rage made the band famous in its region. A year after Andreas Mailänder (bass) joined the band in 1991, their second demo, "Heart Of Hate", was made! In 1992, new singer Marcus Jürgens became the new frontman and soon the third demo, "The Fifth Season", saw the light of day, in 1994! A huge success in the German underground metal scene, the magazine "Rock Hard" called them "newcomer of the month". After appearing on several compilation CDs, Brainstorm released its fourth demo tape in 1996, which sparked the interest of several companies.
