Merauder

Born in 1990 in the underbelly of Brooklyn, Merauder offers a Metal/Hardcore crossover in the vein of their close neighbors such as Biohazard or Cro-Mags, among others. Slightly in the shadow of the former at their beginnings, Merauder released their first album Master Killer in 1995 on Century Media, a record that would take the band straight to the top tier of New York hardcore. Merauder would be described as a cult band, particularly thanks to this first effort. Four years later, Five Deadly Venoms would drive the point home. 2003 saw the release of a new album, Bluetality. Another four years of breaks and concerts for the New Yorkers before releasing a big best-of in 2007, still on Century Media. Decidedly regular in their release pace, Merauder's latest true album to date, God Is I, would come out in 2009.
