AB/CD

Clearly proclaiming its musical references, AB/CD is a Swedish band that started in 1983. Deliberately parodic, it nonetheless offers music with exactly the same strengths as their big brothers AC/DC. The allusion goes very far, from fake member names to the cannon shots at the end of a song, through singing of a disturbing resemblance, or even the guitarist's schoolboy outfit. A lawsuit would in fact set them against them, the latter judging that the logo used by AB/CD referred too explicitly to their own.
