Deadsoul Tribe

Deadsoul Tribe was formed by Devon Graves in 2000. Graves was originally the singer of another progressive metal band, Psychotic Waltz, where he was credited under the name Buddy Lackey, but he left the band in 1997, claiming he felt like the "weak link". Within Deadsoul Tribe, Graves is the main songwriter, singer and guitarist, as well as the producer of all the albums. The rest of the band was made up of Adel Moustafa on drums and Roland Ivenz on bass, with Roland "Rollz" Kerschbaumer, who joined the band in 2002, as guitarist. The band's sound is characterized by an extensive use of tribal rhythms, dark atmospheres and unusual time signatures.
