Vixen

It is 1980: guitarist Jan Kuehnemund forms the band with female friends. After several changes, the band now has Roxy Petrucci as drummer, Share Pedersen as bassist, Jan Kuehnemund as guitarist and Janet Gardner as singer. The band named Vixen took an approach quite close to Van Halen since the girls decided not to offer any material to the public before being recognized on stage. That is how they would tour for two years before the label EMI "signed" them in 1988. From that came the album "Vixen" in 1988, followed by Rev it up in 1990, notably marked by a more polished but still just as cutting sound.
