WebsiteMotörhead is a British hard rock band founded in 1975 by its bassist and singer Lemmy Kilmister, the only permanent member of the band from its origins to the present day. The band is part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal that gave new life to the heavy metal scene in the United Kingdom in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Usually a power trio, Motörhead enjoyed some success in the early 1980s with several singles that achieved good rankings on the UK Singles Chart. The albums Overkill, Bomber, Ace of Spades and particularly No Sleep 'til Hammersmith cemented Motörhead's reputation as one of the greatest British rock bands. Motörhead is an old American expression for someone "hooked" on hard drugs.

Mascots
Snaggletooth
Snaggletooth is apparently the name given to Motörhead's mascot logo, sometimes nicknamed "War Pig". This creature has a rather improbable look and doesn't enjoy as much staging as Eddie, but nevertheless has enough popularity as such and, above all, plenty of depictions and incarnations.
