H-Bomb is a French heavy metal band, originally from Draveil, in Essonne. The band was formed in 1982 and split up in 1986. In 1981, guitarist Armando Fereirra and bassist Philippe Garcia left the band Cyanure to form what would become H-Bomb in 1982. The band was formed in Draveil, in Essonne. Despite a very short career (four years), with only two albums and a few EPs, it is one of the forerunners of French speed metal. H-Bomb opened for Def Leppard at a concert in Melun, in Seine-et-Marne. The initial media reactions were favorable. In 1983, they released their first studio album, titled Coup de metal. Their second studio album, Attaque, was released the same year. After the band split up in 1986, only Philty created a new line-up under the name Sexy Dolls.
