Hear ’n Aid

Hear n' Aid is a collective of musicians from the hard rock and heavy metal scene, formed in 1985 in order to raise funds against the famines in Africa. An album, Stars, came out of this collaboration. In addition to the collective song Stars, the album contains tracks drawn from the back catalogs of various artists. The song was composed and written by Ronnie James Dio, Jimmy Bain and Vivian Campbell. It was recorded by 40 artists on 20 and 21 May 1985 at the A&M Records studios in Hollywood (California, United States of America).
