Website
The Black Angels is a Swiss rock band founded in 1979 by Harry Greis in Schaffhausen. This was followed by the release of five albums and more than 85,000 records sold worldwide. The band toured all across Europe. They played with Mother's Finest, Alvin Lee Band, Ten Years After, Uriah Heep, Whitesnake and Nazareth, among others. The Black Angels, along with Krokus and China, are among the Swiss rock exports that played a key role in writing the book of the young history of Swiss hard rock. In February 2009, all the old albums were reissued and a new CD was put on the market. The Black Angels can be seen live again after a 20-year break under the name Ron Phillips Black Angels. The album Steamroller was released in June 2019.
